THEY’RE currently enjoying a no expense spared holiday in Florida – their 18th vacation in the last 20 months.
And while mum-of-22 Sue Radford, husband Noel and some of their kids and grandchildren have been enjoying the theme parks during the day, it seems the nights are just as memorable as well.
On the family’s Instagram page on Thursday night, Sue shared a picture of a light in the sky, as she wrote: “Just sitting outside ordering loads of back to school stuff and WOW, we saw this orange light coming towards us in the distance.
“And thought that’s definitely not a plane as it’s bright orange.
“It then turned and we saw a huge fire vapour trail behind it!
“I went to grab the camera and shouted Noel and it suddenly disappeared.”
Sue added that she, daughter Sophie and son-in-law Joe were all “convinced” it was a meteor, and her son Max had also seen it and shouted “That’s a meteorite!”
“Wow, it was amazing,” Sue concluded.
She also added a poll to the page, which read: “Did anyone else see it?” with the options yes or no.
However, it seems lots of people had got in touch after that and told Sue what she’d actually seen.
As on the next Story, she shared a snap of a news article which read: “SpaceX launched 22 of its Starlink internet satellites toward orbit tonight and brought the rocket back for a landing at sea.”
“Looks like it was this,” Sue wrote over the top.
“So disappointing we didn’t know about this because wow, it was amazing how it just suddenly disappeared!”
It was a busy day all round for the Radfords on Thursday, as they’d got up early and managed to get on the Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure ride at Universal in Orlando.
Sharing a snap of herself on the ride, Sue wrote: “Hagrid is hands down the BEST RIDE EVER!”
As well as exploring the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal, including Diagon Alley, they popped to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium for a sweet treat.
In addition to tonnes of chocolate cakes and brownies, there were also some incredible cake shakes on offer – with Sue tucking into one as she said she was in “chocolate heaven”.
It remains to be seen when Sue and her family will be flying back to the UK.
In another Story, she said they would be back “next week”, but most schools in the UK return after the summer holidays on either Monday or Tuesday.
